survivor’s give back – online raffle

Cheree is a breast cancer survivor giving back to HBCF after accessing support services throughout her own journey.

To say thank you, Cheree is promoting an online fundraising raffle throughout October Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise funds for HBCF so we can continue to support local breast cancer families.

Cheree’s daughter-in-law and part-time artist, Emma, is the talent behind these beautiful pieces of art that will soon be going home to some lucky winners.

Online raffle opens: NOW
Winners announced & contacted: October 15th
Ticket Entry Price: 1 entry for $10 or 3 for $25
Please note: Physical tickets will not be received, your name will act as your “ticket” and be entered into the draw as many times as “tickets purchased”.

Prizes

first prize: 'emotions' artwork

60cm x 90cm acrylic on canvas, board backed and framed painting

Artist: @emma_oneill_art

“For me, the artwork captures the invasiveness of breast cancer, the fatigue and tiredness that’s always there, the foggy brain that debilitates you, the flood of so many emotions and moods that just happen while you are riding the breast cancer rollercoaster. Yet, I see hope and comfort in the structure of the painting and fills me with hope. Emma continues to be a tower of strength and support for me as I keep journeying.” – Cheree

second prize: 'bunches for you' artwork

60cm x 60cm acrylic on canvas, board backed and framed painting

Artist: @emma_oneill_art

“This painting says thank you to everyone who has been present in my journey. A beautiful, bright vibrant, bunch of colourful blooms offers my gratitude to you all. To the doctors, nurses, other medics, office staff, friends and therapists and of course HBCF.” – Cheree

third prize: pair of scented candles

 Made by @brons_wick_soy_candles

“Bron is one of Emma’s good friends. Through this journey, there have been many people that have assisted the family to help them, to help me. The aroma smelt throughout the house, reminds me of the good times to come and all the little things that I am looking forward to doing in the future. The candles are ‘Guava and Lychee’ and ‘Black Tea and Lychee’. Take it from me…… they smell amazing.” – Cheree
