In order to ensure minimal risk of infection or transmission of coronavirus we have changed the way we transport local men and women to and from their cancer treatment.
A private hire car company with strict infection control and cleaning policies has been contracted to provide safe transport for all of our clients.
HBCF paid and volunteer drivers will not be providing transport during this time. The aim is to get everyone to their treatment and appointments as safely as possible. This situation will be continually reviewed and we hope to have HBCF drivers back on the road as soon as it is safe to do so.
If clients would prefer a family transport them to and from appointments and HBCF can offer fuel cards to cover the petrol expense.
