Make it Pink – Shave it Off

October is national breast cancer awareness month, and also marks one year since Annie’s family was directly affected by this disease.

On the 3rd of October 2019 Annie’s Mum, Bridget, was diagnosed with breast cancer which hit their family hard.

“The last 12 months have been a struggle not just for her but for the rest of our family too. After seeing first hand how breast cancer affects entire families, I want to do what I can to help ease the burden on others going through their own struggle with this disease.”

One year on from Bridget’s diagnosis, she will be shaving Annie’s head to help the campaign raise money and awareness for HBCF and the amazing work they do to support people affected by breast cancer.
