Join us for a lovely spring night out to support local women through breast cancer.
This exciting movie event will be a fabulous fundraising experience complete with exclusive tickets to the movie Respect, featuring the life story of legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin. After receiving your popcorn and soda on arrival, you will enter the spacious V-Max cinema where you will have the opportunity to purchase lolly bag raffle tickets… YES lollies with your raffle ticket number included, to go in the draw to win amazing luxury pampering items. This will be followed by a game of hide & seek – extra goodies for winners (to be explained further on the night – but be excited) and hear one of our clients stories on the big screen!
The funds raised from the winter movie night will go directly towards providing practical and essential support services for local Hunter families navigating breast cancer.
This event will not be cancelled. HBCF will continue to postpone the event date until restrictions allow the event to go ahead. If you purchase tickets and can no longer make the new event date, a refund can be offered if applied for within 7 days of new date announcement.
The event opens at 5:30pm and popcorn + drink line will open from 5.30pm at Cinema entrance. Entry into Cinema will be at 5.45pm, raffle draw will begin at approximately 6.15pm and movie screening will begin at 6:30pm. Move running time is 2 hours and 25 minutes.

Why come along?
Over the past 12 months, the requests for HBCF’s services have doubled. Now more than ever, the need to come together and support women through breast cancer is vital. Our Pink Race day is the biggest fundraising event of the year for HBCF, and unfortunately this event was not only cancelled in 2020, but again capacity was reduced dramatically in 2021 – so every bit counts!
So bring your friends, bring your family, bring all your people along and enjoy a movie and some popcorn for a very important cause.
