Join us for a night out and support local women through breast cancer.
This exciting movie event will be a fun fundraising experience complete with tickets to the movie Downtown Abbey: A New Era at Event Cinemas Kotara.
The funds raised from the mothers day movie night will go directly towards providing practical and essential support services for local Hunter families navigating breast cancer.
Tickets include:
- 1 ticket to private viewing of Downtown Abbey: A New Era in VMax Cinema, Event Cinemas Kotara
- Popcorn
- Soft drink
Mothers Day Hamper Gifts
HBCF have teamed up with local business, Scrubba Body, and bundled up some of our favourite natural pamper products for Mum!
Everyone has the opportunity to pre-purchase a Mother’s Day Hamper online by Friday 29th of April, to be collected at the event. If you can’t make our event you can still purchase online and we’ll deliver it to you!
When entering the final step of purchasing hamper packs, you will have the option to select which products to include in your hamper. All three items have a different range of scents to choose from.
Hamper includes:
– Bath Milk Soak
– Lip Balm
– Soy Candle
– Mother’s Day Card + Boobie Pin
Why come along?
Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) is a completely independent, locally based not-for-profit that is entirely funded by the local community. The past two years has seen a dramatic increase in the requests for breast cancer support services across Newcastle and the Hunter. This increase in breast cancer diagnosis along with a decrease in fundraising and donations because of COVID means we need your support more than ever before. Without the support of the local community, HBCF will not be able to continue to provide practical, essential support services to local families journeying through breast cancer.
So bring your mum, your friends and family, and enjoy a movie and some popcorn for a very important cause.
Details:
3.00pm – HBCF will be handing out all pre-purchased Mother’s Day Hampers. There will be a lolly bar to grab any extra goodies you need and raffle ticket sales to go in the draw to win prizes!
3.40pm – After receiving your popcorn and soda upon entry into the Vmax cinema, you can choose your seat and get comfortable.
3.50pm – HBCF Welcome and raffle drawn.
4.00pm – Movie Begins, running time is 2 hours and 2 minutes.
6.02pm – Event ends.
