Why come along?
The Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation (HBCF) is a completely independent, locally based not-for-profit that is entirely funded by the local community. HBCF provides practical, essential support services to local families journeying through breast cancer.
These services include everything from a wig library, private transport, cleaning and lawn maintenance, exercise programs, comfort cushions for post-surgery, support groups and much more. HBCF’s clients are local Hunter people who are currently going through treatment for breast cancer and their families.
In the 2020/21 FY HBCF provided more than 3600 supportive care services to Hunter families. HBCF saw the need for some of our services almost triple, in just one year.
